(Monrovia, Liberia; July 9, 2010): The Civil Service Agency (CSA) will, on July 12th and 13th, host two working sessions on the consolidation of 2010/11 basic salaries and general allowances. The workshop will bring together Personnel Directors, Assistant Ministers for Administration, and Financial Comptrollers or staff responsible for allowances at government ministries and agencies. It is in furtherance of the Pay Reform component of the Civil Service Reform Program.
On July 12, the session will be attended by representatives of 21 government entities, while the July 13th session will be attended by representatives of 19 government entities.
The objective of the two sessions is to provide information on 2010/11 salaries, validate information on those receiving allowances and explain Phase One of the Pay Reform exercise, which is the process for consolidating basic pay and allowances in Grades One (1) through six (6) effective Fiscal Year 2010-11.
