MONROVIA/CSA/January 28,2010____The Government of Liberia on Wednesday honored (7) civil servants at a program in the Cecil Dennis Auditorium at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the CSA press release, the civil servants were honored for their commitment and dedication to service delivery in their various places of work.

Speaking earlier, the Director-General of the Civil Service Agency, Dr. C. William Allen said the seven servants were nominated by their respective ministries for having distinguished themselves by going above and beyond the call of duty.

Meanwhile, the President, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, lauded the honoring of civil servants and encouraged others to follow their examples.

Those honored were; Erastus Wieh, Civil Service Agency, B. Wion Kanteah, Sr. Ministry of Public Works, F. Moses K. M’Bomah, Ministry of Transport, James Y. Tolker, Ministry of State, Harris Morris, Ministry of Justice, Charles B. Robinson, Ministry of Defense and Civil Servant of the Year Macaetoh. P. Wreh, of Commerce and Industry.

Also honored was Vice President Joseph N. Boakai who received a special award for his support of the on-going Civil Service Reform Program.
